Hitoshi Murayama, Deputy Director of the Linear Collider Collaboration and Director of the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe will give a keynote speech at an event about "Science for Peace and Development" next week at UN headquarters in New York. This event takes place in the framework of CERN 60th anniversary, and his fellow speakers include UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Nobel Laureates Kofi Annan and Carlo Rubbia and CERN DG Rolf Heuer.
