This is clearly a very complicated proposition and it takes effort from many directions to keep it moving.

Celebrations of the institute’s 60th anniversary in 2016 will help strengthen international scientific and technical cooperation, the credibility of one of the oldest international intergovernmental organisations and improving the social status of scientific activity.
