| 20 March 2014 Usually it’s basic research – especially for particle accelerators – that pioneers new technology. But in this case the researchers obviously had a little inspirational snoop at Levi’s or any other jeans manufacturer’s. Present, future and science fiction of particle physics

| 2 June 2011 Brian Foster, recently awarded the Humboldt professorship by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, has begun work in Germany this week.
