Proudly presenting: the new LCC management

| 8 December 2016 As many of you will have heard by now, the Linear Collider Collaboration was given another three-year mandate by the International Committee for Future Accelerators (ICFA). It took the opportunity to streamline management a little, so from January we will run the collaboration in a smaller and slightly changed team. Let me introduce the new and old management to you. ILC constructed in Tokyo’s Roppongi area

| 23 November 2016 A not-to-be-missed event in Tokyo this autumn was a 15-metre-long original art work representing the ILC. Designed by famous architect Jo Nagasaka, the exhibition was built with the help of more than 300 students in a traditional Japanese way with rammed earth. Changes in LCC and in the US regarding ILC

In the light of new accelerators

International Linear Collider community meets at ECFA workshop LCWS16

| 23 June 2016 The European Committee for Future Accelerators (ECFA) hosted a Linear Collider Workshop from 30 May to 5 June in Santander, Spain, and offered many opportunities to exchange knowledge and technical know-how to over 200 scientists from all around the world. The ILC community and the CLIC community used this workshop to come together and present their recent developments and new findings in many plenary talks and a large number of parallel sessions. Both projects show their steady progress. But not only science and advancements were the focus of the workshop – also industrial partners and important political developments had their slot on the packed workshop schedule. Coming up: the ECFA Linear Collider Workshop

| 26 May 2016 The ILC’s central region – the bits of accelerator and other technology around the point where particles will collide – will get special attention at the upcoming ECFA Linear Collider Workshop in Santander, Spain. Spain and Japan strengthen industrial collaboration toward the ILC

| 26 May 2016 A Spanish Japanese Collaboration in industry and science? Yes, a collaboration which just took another important step to strengthen this relationship at May 13th at the Collaboration Opportunities on Fusion and Accelerator Technologies and Projects workshop at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. Tohru Takahshi from Hiroshima University attended this workshop and offers his impressions about the actual developments and relations between Japan and Spain.
