Spain and Japan strengthen industrial collaboration toward the ILC

| 26 May 2016 A Spanish Japanese Collaboration in industry and science? Yes, a collaboration which just took another important step to strengthen this relationship at May 13th at the Collaboration Opportunities on Fusion and Accelerator Technologies and Projects workshop at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. Tohru Takahshi from Hiroshima University attended this workshop and offers his impressions about the actual developments and relations between Japan and Spain. Discussions at the political level over the ILC in US and Europe

| 11 June 2015 Right after the Asian Linear Collider Workshop (ALCW) 2015 and ILC Tokyo Event, another big milestone for the ILC happened in the United States. From 26 to 30 April, three members of the Diet and members of Japan’s Federation of Diet Members for Promotion of the ILC, Takeo Kawamura, Ryu Shionoya and Shun-ichi Suzuki visited Washington D.C., to meet with their American counterparts to discuss the ILC. 30 April 2015 At the ILC Tokyo Symposium, held on 22 April 2015 at the Ito International Hall, Tokyo, Japan, the Linear Collider Collaboration (LCC) and the more than 300 participants from around the world at the Asian Linear Collider Workshop (ALCW) 2015 decided to issue a statement confirming their conviction of the scientific justification for a prompt realisation of the International Linear Collider (ILC). Japanese industry getting ready for the ILC

| 11 December 2014 Japanese businesspeople and scientists gathered in Tokyo last week to attend the general meeting of the Advanced Accelerator Association Promoting Science and Technology, which is now a general incorporated association. At this occasion, three special lectures were given Lyn Evans, Hitoshi Murayama and Sachio Komamiya from the Linear Collider Collaboration and Board.
