Successful visit to Europe: one big step for ILC realisation

| 1 February 2018 A Japanese delegation of 18 persons – Diet members, government officials, industry leaders, and scientists – toured France and Germany in a four-day visit seeking to strengthen relationships towards ILC realisation. Essential view points from the two countries on investment and timescale were clarified and confirmed with the delegation. Strasbourg steers ILC towards ESRFI roadmap

Spain and Japan strengthen industrial collaboration toward the ILC

Yes, a collaboration which just took another important step to strengthen this relationship at May 13th at the Collaboration Opportunities on Fusion and Accelerator Technologies and Projects workshop at the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo. Akira Yamamoto awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon

| 28 April 2016 On 28 April, the Japanese government announced the winners of the "Medal with Purple Ribbon" for 2016, and Akira Yamamoto, professor of KEK and Regional Director for Asia of Linear Collider Collaboration, is one of them. He receives the Medal for his contribution to the advancement of superconducting technology.
